Hi there party people!
It has been a goal of mine to spend as much outdoor time as possible this summer (in between face painting parties) and a few indoor places to play. Here are some of my summer favorites so far, I hope you enjoy them!
Big Rocks Park, Glen Rose
This park is located on the Paluxy River. My toddler was not so excited about the huge rocks (he's only 3) but he had a wonderful time splashing on the cristal clear water and looking at all the fishies get so close to his toes. Dinosaur Valley, Glen Rose
If you have little ones fascinated by dinosaurs like my son, this will be heaven on earth for them. They will be thrilled to go hunting for the REAL dinosaur tracks. My son hiked all the way with his magnifying glass looking for tracks. Little did he know they were going to be huge tracks in the water. It's truly a great place for a family adventure. Mac&Z Play and Cafe, Flower Mound.
I have to say, I have not taken advantage of this place as much as I should. This is the mom-heaven and if you don't believe me, go try it out for yourself. You can enjoy delicious pastries and coffee while your child plays in what looks like a kid-size community with a fire station, a vet hospital, a grocery store, and a hospital. There is a counter where you can have your treats and watch your children at the same time. As If that wasn't enough, they have a party room where they have awesomely decorated birthday parties.
